Pricing & billing
This page explains how Optimisation Reviews work, how Retail Media Networks (RMNs) are counted for plan limits, and standard billing policies for upgrades, downgrades, switching to annual billing, and cancellation. For live prices and plan comparison, see Pricing on Opteroo.com.
Optimisation Reviews
Optimisation Reviews are 30-minute video sessions with the Opteroo team to review performance and agree next priorities. Sessions do not roll over: unused sessions lapse at the end of each billing cycle.
How RMNs are counted
Plans are tiered by the number of Retail Media Networks (RMNs) you connect. One DSP counts as one RMN, no matter how many retailers sit on it. For example, Criteo covering Uber Eats, Dan Murphy's, and BWS is one RMN, not three.
Common AU/NZ RMNs include Criteo (Uber Eats, Dan Murphy's, BWS), Amazon Ads / DSP, Cartology (Woolworths), Coles Online (Citrus), and DoorDash Ads.
Billing policies
Upgrades, downgrades, annual switch, and cancellation
Plan upgrades
Upgrades take effect from the start of your next billing cycle, not instantly. If your billing date is the 15th and you upgrade on the 14th, your new plan activates on the 15th. Your account stays on the current plan until then.
Plan downgrades
Downgrades take effect from the start of your next billing cycle. You keep full access to your current plan's features and RMN connections until the cycle ends. From the first day of the new cycle, the lower plan's limits apply.
Switching from monthly to annual
When you switch from monthly to annual, a new 12-month billing cycle begins from the switch date. Your previous monthly billing stops and you are invoiced for the full annual amount at that time.
Cancellation (Essentials, Growth, Pro)
Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans are non-refundable mid-cycle; access continues until the end of the paid period.
